Online applications are open to exhibit at the South Island Agricultural Field Days (SIAFD) being held at Kirwee next year.
SIAFD will take place from Wednesday to Friday, March 29 to 31, 2017 at their new permanent home on Courtenay Road, Kirwee, near Darfield.
Field days secretary Nicola Burgess says any agribusiness company that wants to book space for the 2017 event can do so on the SIAFD website:siafd.co.nz.
The website has an online application form as well as a prospectus with information for exhibitors about how the field days will be run, payment, advertising options, and award competitions.
Ms Burgess says the SIAFD’s organising committee is looking forward to building on the success of its 2015 event, which was the first at it’s Kirwee site.
‘‘Working bees have already started preparing the site for next years field days,’’ she says.
‘‘The layout of the site will be similar to last year although exactly where different categories of exhibitors will be located is yet to be finalised. This means exhibitors can register now, but sites will be allocated at a later date.
‘‘We will continue our focus on being a demonstration-based field day and we want to see even more machinery on display in 2017.’’
There is already strong interest in SIAFD 2017 with more than 50 regular exhibitors registering since applications opened on July 29.
