A fireworks display co-ordinated with music provided the eye-catching finale to Christmas Celebration Night in Rangiora last Friday.

The fireworks were let off from Victoria Park, and a crowd gathered outside the park in Percival St to watch the display.

Part of High Street was closed to traffic so the area could be transformed into a market zone for more than 70 stalls.

There was live music throughout the night. Performers included the rock cover band Bottle Jacks Live and Rangiora High School students, brother and sister Lachie and Brianna James.

The crowd enjoyed several street performers and, for the children, there were fairy face painters, a balloon twister, hoola-hoop artist, and an assortment of inflatable play areas. Santa Claus and Mrs Claus were special guests. The event was organised by Rangiora Promotions.Best Nike Sneakersnike fashion
