A treasure found in a local shed is baffling Rangiora Museum volunteers.
Rangiora and Districts Early Records Society president Anne Jelfs says the museum is keen to hear from anyone who can explain the mystery object.
“It was found in the shed of someone who was interested in early cars and motors and all things old, particularly items made from steel.
“It’s relatively heavy for its size, very sturdy and well-made.”
The object has a hook to hang off the ceiling, with lots of little hooks which could be for holding fishing hooks, lures or flies.
Anyone who has any suggestions can call in at the Rangiora Museum when it is open on Wednesdays and Sundays from 1.30pm to 4pm or phone (03) 3107356, or contact Anne on (03) 3137592.best Running shoesAir Jordan
