
A blustery northwest wind greeted early visitors to the Oxford A&P Show, but eased mid-morning to provide mild and sunny conditions for the rest of the day. Oxford hosted a fitting end to the North Canterbury show season, providing a friendly day of fun, entertainment and friendly rivalry in the competition classes. Neil Clarkson caught some of the action.

Sheep judges assess the champion ewe from each breed to decide the Overall Champion Ewe. The sheep section had Royal Event status this year.
